530-mile Smith Mountain Lake Paddle to fight internet crimes against children

Join Tom Jones and the Safe Surfin’ Foundation in fighting internet crimes against children. 

This August (see calendar below), Tom will paddle the entire 530-mile perimeter of Smith Mountain Lake and keynote a number of fun family events to raise money for this important cause.  Tom will be joined by other athletes, celebrities, comedians and musicians in this month-long celebration of the dedicated law-enforcement professionals who protect our children from dangerous predators who prowl the Internet.

The Safe Surfin’ Foundation provides educational materials to kids, parents, teachers and schools about how to stay safe online while taking advantage of all the great things the Internet has to offer.  They also provide tactically proven materials, programs and training to law enforcement agencies and personnel to teach them how to identify, track, apprehend and prosecute Internet predators.
